Final Draft DPS

I had changed the pixels of this draft from draft 3 as before it was blurred, but otherwise stayed the same.

Final Draft Front Cover

I didn't change much on the front cover apart from a few spelling errors, the type of font and dulling down the colour as the pink was too bright and seemed too childish.

DSP Final

I had changed the main font to something that seemed more glamorous and "show business" as I felt it fit the theme of the picture quite well. I have now got an anchor with information on it, I removed the pull quote from the image as it draw the attention away from the image. I also aligned everything so it all fits perfectly together.

DPS first draft

During this first draft to my DPS, I obviously didn't finish it completely as I was experimenting with the pull quotes on the page. One of which is on top of the image and the other I tried to put in-between both text columns. I am undecided on whether it works or not. I also need to add an anchor to help create the image of the feature being over as well as finishing off the interview.

DPS- Photoshoot with Inspiration Images

DPS Photoshoot Plan

Inspiration Songs

Some youtube links of more inspirational music videos that I can use for my DPS.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oud4oMWqfLY
Eliza Doolittle, Rollerblades

Cee Lo Green, What Part Of Forever

They both have a playful vibe, within a forest/park and are quite summery. I also like the lighting and the sound which I am going to try and represent in my photo shoot.

Front Cover Second Draft

For this second draft, I had changes the fonts so they were more simple and would appeal to a wider range of audience. I also added more colour and more text on the page. The writing is also aligned better and I think that the magazine now fits more into a general category of indie/mainstream rather than in the direction of grunge & indie.

First Draft Music Magazine

This was my first draft of my front cover. However I don't like the fonts of the titles and how little text there is. Even though my questionnaire results showed that the masthead font was most preferred, I don't think it resembles the look I want to achieve as my magazine looks very grunge&rock.
